Tailings Engineer Role

Join a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team of highly skilled professionals working on diverse projects across various commodities and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver best practice consulting services to clients in Australia and overseas.
  • Prepare and deliver technical deliverables such as proposals and reports, undertaking design assessments including stability and seepage analyses.
  • Interpret results from laboratory testing and prepare summary reports.
  • Develop a basis for defensible soil strength parameters using laboratory and field results.
  • Undertake screening level and detailed design analyses to support the design of tailings storage facilities and other earth structures initially under close guidance from senior specialists but with a view to carrying out such work independently.
  • Develop designs for tailings storage facilities and other earth structures.
About You:
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil or Mining Engineering.
  • Proven working experience on tailings related projects locally or internationally ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently autonomously and in a team environment including on multi-disciplinary projects.
