About the Role

Cocoon Group Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs in our Supported Disability Accommodation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to participants with high physical needs and complex care requirements.
  • Manage challenging behaviors and develop strategies to promote positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in disability support.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment that promotes the independence and well-being of participants.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent).
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening check.
  • Working with Children Check.
