Job Title: Surgical Admissions OfficerWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our busy surgical bookings department as an Admissions Officer. This is a multi-faceted position that offers a mix of responsibilities, including providing customer service at the front concierge, supporting direct admissions for the hospital and theatre wards, and assisting with surgical bookings by processing Recommendations for Admission (RFAs).About the Role:
  • Providing a range of administrative support services to enable the team to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable, patient-focused, and effective manner.
  • Supporting direct admissions for the hospital and theatre wards.
  • Assisting with surgical bookings by processing Recommendations for Admission (RFAs).
  • Providing customer service at the front concierge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Clerical experience with computer literacy, including word processing and relevant experience.
  • Medical terminology certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Hospital administration systems or patient databases experience, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality when entering sensitive patient information.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, good interpersonal skills, and willingness to function as part of a team.
