Safety Excellence Manager

We seek a Safety Excellence Manager to oversee our safety strategy and operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide expert leadership in contemporary WHS theory, best practices, and effective implementation of wellbeing, health and safety.
  • Ensure our safety management system is up-to-date, risk-based, and compliant with statutory obligations.
  • Lead the WHS governance and reporting to ensure consistent, proactive, and effective delivery of wellbeing, health and safety.
  • Monitor and report on wellbeing, health and safety performance and the effectiveness of our WHS strategy and programs.

**Requirements:**

  • Hold relevant qualifications and have extensive experience in wellbeing, health and safety or other relevant discipline.
  • Proven track record of leading a WHS function in a large, diverse organisation, delivering business results and maturing safety culture.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to lead, empower others, drive high performance, develop and coach team members, and foster a workplace culture aligned with our corporate values.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with emphasis on advocacy, influence, consultation, building relationships, and negotiation.
