Clinical Specialist in Substance Use Care

This is a specialist position within a multidisciplinary service providing treatment and support services for individuals and their families affected by substance use.
The service offers a comprehensive range of care and support options to address the complex needs of people with alcohol, prescription or illicit drug issues.
As a senior clinical professional, you will provide expert consultancy and advice on drug and alcohol matters to various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level expertise and guidance on drug and alcohol management to diverse healthcare settings.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary framework to deliver excellence in nursing practice and contribute to strategic planning.
- Develop and implement education programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in drug and alcohol management.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA (Division 1).
- Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience in Drug and Alcohol clinical practice, including a relevant qualification.
- Proven leadership skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills across multiple mediums.
