Fleet Operations Specialist

Seeking a Fleet Operations Specialist to ensure the smooth running of fleet services. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance, promoting workplace safety, and driving operational efficiency.

  • Enter and maintain accurate data on fleet, plant, and equipment within our asset management system.
  • Coordinate the commissioning of new fleet, plant, and equipment for operational service.
  • Manage the decommissioning of old assets in accordance with organizational directives.
  • Schedule and oversee service, maintenance, and repairs of fleet, plant, and equipment.
  • Assess reported faults and issues, implementing corrections where applicable.
  • Organize and schedule certification for applicable assets.
  • Complete bi-annual asset audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare daily inspection checklists and complete associated data entry.
  • Conduct insurance assessments, coordinate repair quotes, and arrange hire vehicles as needed.
  • Oversee the workshop team, ensuring welding, fabrication, and mechanical work is completed to standard and within deadlines.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses:

  • Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a fleet or mechanical workshop supervisor role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in mechanical and welding fabrication processes.
  • Sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices, including the development and review of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs).
