Job Description

The Customer Service Officer is HIA's front line representative of the HIA Home Inspirations Centre.

This role is responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors, assisting with Centre enquiries and undertaking administrative tasks associated with the operation of the Centre, such as processing visitor information.

The principal purpose of this position is to contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the HIA Homes Inspirations Centre by providing high quality customer service to visitors of the Centre and administrative support in line with the responsibilities and accountabilities outlined below.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Action, process and record visits to the Centre accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure visitors fully and accurately complete their brochure request card.
  • Answer phones, directing callers, attending to visitor/exhibitor queries.
  • Provide general administrative support.

This role is casual predominantly working 1-2 weekends per month.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A good telephone manner.
  • Well-developed customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency and familiarity with MS Word, Access and Excel.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
