Job Title: Regional Segment Manager

">Job Description

As a Regional Segment Manager, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing market segment go-to-market strategies across the APAC region, excluding China. You will work closely with Country Leadership teams to drive strategic development and market share in industry and renewables.

The successful candidate will be based in their home city within the APAC region and will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the respective APAC countries' Country MD and Market Managers to identify business needs, determine key accounts, co-develop actions and timelines, and align resources in support of go-to-market activities.
  • Developing and executing segment and account-specific profitable growth strategies and plans, including generating product value propositions and product positioning.
  • Establishing a deep understanding of customer segments and market dynamics, developing trusted relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executives.
  • Building and monitoring sales pipelines, forecasting, and tracking metrics.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrating Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in business or engineering highly desired.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the electrical power equipment industry.
  • Experience delivering customer-focused solutions to meet client needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills for both direct and indirect teams; ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to address tough issues and contribute to collaborative solutions; capable of juggling multiple account management projects; flexible to occasional business travel.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
