The Supply Quality Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of our supply chain, working closely with top-tier suppliers to drive excellence and achieve exceptional results.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of aerospace innovation, driving cutting-edge projects like the MQ-28 Ghost Bat autonomous drone.
Responsibilities- Plan and conduct audits and assessments of supplier systems, processes, and products, leveraging industry best practices.
- Document and report audit results, ensuring compliance with quality management system standards and company policies.
- Assist with supplier capability and capacity assessments, providing education and coaching on quality systems and regulatory compliance, fostering strong relationships with suppliers.
- Resolve routine issues and concerns in the supplier quality space, utilizing problem-solving skills and collaboration.
- Experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Supplier Management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Able to differentiate production processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements, applying analytical skills.
