Community Engagement and Project Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and community-driven professional to play a pivotal role in the Active Ageing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the engagement and development of volunteers across multiple programs
- Collaborate with teams and partners to deliver impactful community projects, driving positive change and outcomes
- Design and facilitate training and onboarding for new and existing volunteers, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusivity
- Provide expert support to casual hirers and community users of facilities, ensuring seamless experiences
- Contribute to the planning, evaluation, and policy development, aligning with strategic objectives
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Social Work, Welfare, Community Services, or related fields
- Proven expertise working with volunteers, fostering a positive culture and high level of engagement
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work across multiple programs and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of volunteer management principles, with a focus on best practices
