About the Job

This is a senior leadership position with significant influence on key business initiatives.

The successful candidate will drive strategic planning, process improvement, and cost optimization while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a national fleet of vehicles, including acquisitions, maintenance, insurance, and disposal.
  • Develop and implement fleet strategy and optimization initiatives.
  • Lead and deliver transformation projects to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Create and roll out consistent fleet policies, procedures, and training across all business units.
  • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of fleet management systems, data, and reporting.
  • Analyze driver behavior, vehicle utilization, and fuel usage through regular reporting.
  • Comply with safety, environmental, and legislative requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external fleet providers.
  • Conduct audits, reconciliations, and maintain the fleet asset register.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders on fleet-related matters.

Candidate Profile:

You are an experienced Fleet professional with at least four years' experience managing large, complex vehicle fleets.

You bring analytical skills, operational discipline, and a proven ability to drive change through cost-saving initiatives, transitioning from ownership to leasing, or improving compliance.
