We are seeking an experienced and strategic Fleet Manager to join our team. This is a full-time role that involves overseeing the management of our vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintaining optimal safety and functionality.
About the Role- This position requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage a large diverse fleet in Australia.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' senior technical experience in fleet management, maintenance and repair, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
- You will also need to have a sound understanding of driving and commercial licensing regulatory requirements within Australia, as well as excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Oversee maintenance schedules and manage vendor relationships to ensure every vehicle meets the highest safety standards.
- Forecast needs and build renewal strategies for our fleet, and train leaders on road safety and operational procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to shape the future of our fleet, ensuring it remains safe, efficient, and effective.
- Degree in Diesel Mechanics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' senior technical experience in fleet management, maintenance and repair.
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling and managing a large diverse fleet in Australia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, and strong administrative skills.
