This is a full-time role which can be based anywhere in Australia, with travel requirements nationally.

Responsibilities
  • This role is responsible for strategic asset purchases and disposal, maintenance of the vehicle fleet, ensuring accreditation compliance across all states, optimal safety and functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • You will oversee maintenance schedules, manage vendor relationships, and make sure every vehicle meets the highest safety standards.
  • You'll also play a vital part in shaping our fleet's future – forecasting needs, building renewal strategies, and training our leaders so they're confident and capable on the road.
  • It's about more than mechanics; it's about keeping the backbone of our adventures moving.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Diesel Mechanic with senior experience in fleet management.
  • Minimum 5 years' senior technical experience in fleet management, maintenance and repair.
  • Demonstrated experience in scheduling and managing a large diverse fleet in Australia.
  • Proficient in the use of Office365 and particularly in Microsoft Excel, and strong administrative skills.
  • A sound understanding of driving and commercial licensing regulatory requirements within Australia.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel for work as required.
