Senior Risk Analyst - Treasury Control

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join our Treasury Control team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on financial management and strategy to our business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your knowledge of Treasury products and processes to coach and advise the business on effective risk management.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of controls to ensure the bank's assets are safeguarded and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Lead activities to undertake root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements.
  • Support the effective design of controls for all new and changing processes and operations.
  • Responsible for data quality and maintenance of various databases, including Risk In Site.
  • Lead activities to undertake Control Assurance Program (CAP) testing, including the development of test scripts.
  • Support the delivery of risk management committee governance and reporting.
  • Contribute to the administration of governance forums, including minuting and action management.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement of the business control environment using data to generate insights.
  • Input to the reporting on Operational Risk and control profiles, issues, incidents, and other matters.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of risk management systems and processes.
  • Common sense, practical application, and critical thinking.
  • Understanding of the Group definition of Control.
  • Experience with Treasury products, including FX, Interest rate derivatives, and securitization, highly desirable.
