Job Title: Roster Administrator
Job Description:We are seeking a highly organized and proactive roster administrator to support the emergency department at our hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing medical staff rosters, ensuring optimal coverage for both planned and unplanned leave.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, organize, set priorities to meet deadlines. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and staff at all levels.
In addition to their administrative duties, the roster administrator will be responsible for liaising with multiple departments to compile daily rosters, maintaining accurate records in Patienteer, and ensuring compliance with employment conditions and award provisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective and professional administrative support, in confidence and with discretion.
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with management and staff at all levels.
- Confident and proactive in learning new online tools and software, including the proficient use of MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to research information to resolve or escalate matters as they arise.
