We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Global Sourcing & Procurement Team in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:- Resolve detailed issues with vendors regarding price, delivery, and terms to maintain relationships.
- Analyse Purchasing transactions to recommend incremental sourcing activity / contract compliance / opportunities for pricing improvement.
- Work with colleagues and suppliers to identify, document, analyse, and resolve any source to pay (S2P) related issues.
- Increase Spend Under Management – working with Sourcing teams on managing the category strategy, tail spend and compliance using category playbooks and rule engines to push spend through preferred vendors.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting – monitor Procurement performance metrics using Qlik. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Risk Management - Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier risks and compliance issues.
- 1-2 years' experience in global sourcing, procurement processes and supplier engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Commercial acumen—experience in the financial sector is a plus.
- Experience in data analysis and financial cost model development.
- Energetic and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working in a team as well as having autonomy to complete their role.
- Strong customer-focus with proven ability in influencing, communicating and negotiating.
- Proactive self-starter who is highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results under tight deadlines.
- Strong domain knowledge and experience in global sourcing and procurement.
- Experience using technology platforms such as Oracle and Qlik Sense.
