To achieve this, we seek a Strategic Sourcing Professional to join our team, supporting the development and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies across various categories.

The Role
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing plans to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Present project outcomes and key recommendations to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and guidance.
  • Design and implement optimal sourcing strategies, driving consistent quality outcomes and cost savings.
  • Negotiate critical supply arrangements and manage contract negotiations, ensuring best value outcomes for clients.
  • Manage key contracts and their administration, maintaining compliance and effectiveness.
  • Identify and evaluate new market trends to inform strategic procurement decisions, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on all aspects of procurement category strategy, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Report on procurement activity and results, offering data-driven insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary education in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related fields, with a strong foundation in procurement principles.
  • 3-5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) principles and/or facilities management will be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail, ensuring timely delivery and excellent quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, feasibility studies, and total cost of ownership analysis, with experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a collaborative team environment, with a customer-centric mindset.
