Strategic Sourcing Buyer Role

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Sourcing Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving innovation and growth within our organization.

This is an opportunity to work on multiple initiatives, leveraging commodity market insights and analytics to drive strategic sourcing decisions. You will be responsible for building and growing a world-class commodity portfolio, developing and engaging with suppliers, and delivering improved quality at lower cost.

You will lead data analysis and informed buying decision recommendations, ensuring supply security, value optimisation, and delivering unique products through strategies and long-term partnerships. Your expertise will also support complex strategic negotiations across Longlife.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a commercial role, ideally with a large volume of agricultural commodities, and knowledge of commodity trading platforms including ASX, GDT, CBOT, CME, ICE, and Euronext.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and growing a world-class commodity portfolio
  • Developing and engaging with suppliers
  • Leading data analysis and informed buying decision recommendations
  • Surendra supply security, value optimisation, and delivering unique products through strategies and long-term partnerships

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a commercial role, ideally with a large volume of agricultural commodities
  • Knowledge of commodity trading platforms including ASX, GDT, CBOT, CME, ICE, and Euronext
