Procurement Strategist Opportunity

This role encompasses a key aspect of our organization's operations, focusing on indirect procurement across multiple categories. We are seeking a skilled professional to drive strategic sourcing, analyze market trends, and optimize spend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive sourcing strategies through data-driven market analysis, benchmarking, and cost modeling.
  • Manage end-to-end RFx processes, including negotiations and supplier contract management.
  • Provide insightful procurement analytics and reporting on spend, savings, KPIs, and supplier risk.
  • Support the development of strong relationships with suppliers through performance reviews, compliance monitoring, and proactive communication.
  • Drive operational excellence by leveraging procurement systems, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed best practices in procurement policies and processes.
About You
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field is required; CIPS certification is advantageous.
  • The ideal candidate will possess 2-4 years of experience in indirect procurement or commercial sourcing, preferably within a corporate or real estate environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar tools, and experience with eProcurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, Zycus) are essential.
  • Knowledge of ESG, sustainability, supplier diversity, and modern slavery compliance is mandatory.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable individuals with excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills are preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a cost-conscious mindset are critical for success in this role.
