Job Title: Information Management and Records Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Management and Records Specialist to lead and manage the agency's information and records management functions. This critical role will ensure compliance with legislative requirements and promote best practices across digital and physical information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an information and records management strategy in line with the National Archives Act.
  • Manage Austrade's Information policies, including the NAA Digital Check-up survey.
  • Provide advice on information management systems, supporting EDRMS, and ensuring system functionality and security.
  • Lead training and support for staff on records management tools and procedures.
  • Oversee compliance, conduct complex searches, data migration, and implement retention/disposal schedules.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in information and records management, with knowledge of government recordkeeping regulations.
  • Expertise in EDRMS administration (Content Manager 10 and Microsoft 365 highly desirable).
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in developing and implementing information management policies.
