Relief Venue Manager
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced professional to provide relief support and lead our growing venue teams across Regional Queensland. This is a key leadership role where you will be required to provide strong leadership and management of all hotel/venue operations and employees.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the hotel is compliant with legislative requirements and company policies, analyzing and reporting on key business metrics, managing budgets and expenses, networking within the community, developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, and handling maintenance issues.
The following skills, behaviors, and qualifications are essential:
- Current Approved Manager Licence, RMLV, Gaming Nominee, RSA, and RSG.
- Strong leadership, training, and motivational skills with excellent communication.
- High standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
- Availability to work hospitality hours.
- Ability to manage conflict, remain calm under pressure, and work unsupervised.
- Thorough understanding of P&L management.
- Management experience in high-volume food, bar, function, gaming, and retail environments.
