Quantitative Market Risk Analyst Role

We are seeking a talented Quantitative Market Risk professional to join our team based in Sydney.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining models covering all asset classes across the Group.

This position requires a strong understanding of fundamental quantitative/computational finance principles and techniques, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient programming skills, and ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining Market Risk models including regulatory capital models for Traded Market Risk and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders, building out new models, and enhancing existing models to meet dynamic requirements.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and keen interest in them.
  • Able to balance day-to-day activities with longer-term objectives.
