About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Specialist to join our team at Recruitment Holdings Ltd. as a Usability Engineer. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the usability and accessibility of our products throughout their entire life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Characterise users, user environments, and user interfaces to identify usability risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement usability testing plans to validate product design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate usability principles into product design and development processes.
  • Prepare and maintain usability-related documentation, including user research reports and usability testing protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, guidelines, and regulations related to usability and accessibility.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related human factors/usability engineering role, such as UI design, transport, infrastructure, aviation, or other industries.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Design, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of human factors and usability engineering principles, standards, guidance, and regulations for medical devices.
  • Experience preparing usability engineering documentation for medical devices.
  • Experience planning, conducting, and reporting usability studies.
