Position Overview
Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team across various departments including Surgical, Medical, Emergency Services, Oncology/Palliative Care, High Dependency Unit, and Pediatrics. Opportunities are available for permanent full-time, part-time, or casual roles.

Our state-of-the-art facility, established on the northern bank of the Pioneer River, features 105 beds, five operating theatres, and a comprehensive day surgery unit, alongside a diverse array of specialized clinical services.

Compensation: $49.04 per hour (RN Level 1) plus superannuation (with additional casual loading if applicable) and access to generous salary packaging options.
Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be accountable for the safe and effective management of patient care, adhering to professional guidelines and legal standards. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based, patient-centered clinical care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Advocating for patients, considering their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Division 1 (Registered Nurse) without practice restrictions.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including Microsoft 365 applications.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19, with the ability to provide necessary documentation.
- A minimum of one year of post-graduate nursing experience.
- Australian Citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work Visa with no restrictions.
