Clinical Nurse Specialist

Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will have a strong Surgical component with an interest in Women's Health and Paediatrics.
The successful candidate will be required to provide advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met.
This role works autonomously within the relevant healthcare team specialty and structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing and delivering of specialist nursing care. The Clinical Nurse provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research.
About you
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience working in the applicable healthcare team specialty. You will possess advanced level clinical and problem-solving skills, planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of patient care, and the ability to work within a collegiate healthcare team structure.
Desirable qualifications include postgraduate tertiary qualifications applicable to healthcare team specialty.
