Job Title: Maintenance Manager

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough facilities inspections to identify any defects and coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs or installations prior to opening.
  • Oversee procurement of hotel equipment and machinery, ensuring all necessary installations are completed before opening.
  • Ensure the hotel meets all safety and regulatory requirements, including compliance with building codes, fire safety regulations, and health standards.
  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding of maintenance team members, providing training and support to ensure they can effectively contribute to the hotel's success.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts and supplies, minimizing waste and adhering to our green initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the hotel finance team to develop budgets and forecasts for the maintenance department.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to establish and maintain maintenance agreements and good working relationships for ongoing needs and success.
  • Create a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Manage daily maintenance needs, allocating tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations.

About Us:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with advanced vocational training and at least two years of experience in general building maintenance or construction. Professional certification and licensure are also required if necessary by law. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be passionate about developing their team, and possess strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
