Intellectual Property Professional

Our client, an internationally renowned integrated IP firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intellectual Property Professional to join their national Engineering/ICT team.
The successful candidate will be the RIGHT HAND to 2 outstanding patent attorneys, assisting with the protection, commercialisation and enforcement of intellectual property.
This varied role includes preparing and proof-reading various correspondence and documents, uploading documents and maintaining accurate information on client portals, liaising with IP Australia for document productions, lodgements and amendments, and general administration tasks.

To be considered for this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of experience in intellectual property, preferably with a focus on patents;
- Highly developed Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Outlook, with a fast typing speed and accuracy;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team;
- High accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
