Management Accountant

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in financial reporting and compliance. As a Management Accountant - Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Process daily transactions for a range of different industries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
- Train and review junior team members' work to ensure high-quality financial reporting.
- Liaise with clients to ensure their financial needs are met.
- Completion of a TAFE or Business College administration course.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in Xero, Account Right Live, or QuickBooks Online.
- Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously, with a deadline-driven approach.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office packages.
- Beneficial to have experience with cloud-based accounting apps, Receiptbank, Hubdoc, and KeyPay.
