About This Role

Expressions of interest are invited for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to undertake critical mineral projects, leveraging expertise in detailed design and project delivery.

Responsibilities will include designing calculations and equipment selection for various applications, including bulk materials handling systems and mechanical platework. A high degree of attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design and select equipment for bulk materials handling systems, slurry and hydraulic systems, and mechanical platework
  • Develop and implement procedures, work practices, plans and protocols to enhance efficiency
  • Review vendor documentation and incorporate it into project designs, focusing on constructability, operability and maintainability
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry codes and standards
  • Deliver projects within schedule, quality and performance criteria while prioritising safety
  • Identify and manage technical risks to ensure successful outcomes
About You
  • Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in base metals, rare earth minerals and mineral processing in a design and construct environment
  • Knowledge of Australian and industry codes and standards relevant to mechanical engineering
  • Strong deliverable focus and ability to plan and manage work effectively
  • Innovative thinker with excellent communication and collaboration skills
