Position Overview
As a Civil Project Manager at MMS you will play a critical role in steering the development, planning, and execution of the project with precision and efficiency. This position requires robust project management skills to ensure seamless project delivery.
This role is offered on a 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce stringent safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions and delays.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with company and industry specifications.
- Cost Control: Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures to uphold project profitability.
- Project Reporting: Provide regular project status reports to senior management, offering insights into progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Skills/Qualifications
- Current & valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements.
- National Police Clearance.
- Qualification in Business or Management (highly desirable).
- Unrestricted Quarry Manager Certificate
- 3+ years' experience as a Project Manager within civil construction environment
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
