The role involves embedding a positive and effective risk and compliance culture across all products.
- Maintain the payments industry compliance framework to drive first line risk enablement at a leading organisation.
- Ensure the company's compliance framework, including the risk and compliance system, is updated and adhered to.
- Support product domains in managing compliance risks and manage payment industry reporting and audit to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Review scheme bulletins, mandates etc. and work with the Domain to assess impacts and communicate to stakeholders.
- Build relationships with industry bodies and schemes; liaise with schemes to manage waivers, data integrity outcomes etc and ensure timely resolution of open actions.
- Embed agile ways of working within the product domains to ensure understanding of scheme changes and compliance activities and work with the domains and squads to prioritise work.
- Assist Domains and clients to raise and manage issues including internal escalation of potential scheme breaches and monitoring the status of business actions to resolve issues.
- Manage the review of any non-compliance to examine root cause and identification of treatment actions.
- Improve compliance maturity and management through key metrics, ensuring appropriate oversight of compliance items within the Domain backlog.
- Perform Compliance reviews to ensure adherence to key obligations.
- Coordinate the annual attestation from clients and other independent reviews.
- Identify and assess industry and regulatory changes.
