Front End Engineer Job Description

The role of Front End Engineer involves crafting the frontend for core customer experiences, from onboarding flows and subscription management to product discovery and personalisation. You will work with a talented cross-functional team to build modern, scalable interfaces, contribute to their evolving component library, and help shape frontend standards across the team.

About The Role

This is a customer-facing product team that's reshaping the consumer experience in the wellness space. As a Front End Engineer, you'll play a key part in delivering elegant, intuitive UIs that directly influence customer engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Deliver high-quality frontend solutions that meet business objectives and drive customer value.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to build and maintain our growing component library.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement high-performance, scalable frontend solutions.
  2. Work closely with designers to bring innovative ideas to life.
  3. Maintain and improve existing frontend codebases.
  4. Contribute to the development of our evolving frontend standards.
Requirements

Strong commercial experience in frontend engineering is essential, as is proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred, React very welcome). A strong foundation in TypeScript fundamentals and experience with design systems are also required. Comfort working in a CI/CD cloud-native environment (AWS experience ideal) is desirable.
