The role of Environmental Management Specialist is to oversee and maintain the company's environmental management systems. This position involves monitoring compliance with environmental regulations, ensuring all operations adhere to current legislative requirements.
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage our environmental initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing strategies to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with farm operatives to improve irrigation management practices
- Monitor wastewater quality and implement corrective actions as needed
- Assist in routine maintenance and inspections of cogeneration and power systems
Key Responsibilities
- Effective communication skills to work with diverse teams
- Ability to identify issues and respond promptly with practical solutions
- Valid driver's licence (LR Truck and/or Forklift licence an advantage)
- Unlimited working rights within Australia
- Vaccinated (or willing to be) against Q Fever
