Caregiver - Dementia Support

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at HammondCare Horsley. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents with dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Assist with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Engage with residents, promoting their involvement in activities and ensuring their needs are met
- Recognize and respond to changes in residents' conditions, within your skills and competencies
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a difference in their lives
- Flexibility to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work independently and show initiative, while valuing teamwork
- Knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs
- Applicants with Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care are viewed favorably
