About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Carer to join our team at HammondCare Horsley. As a Carer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents with dementia, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and dressing
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Engage with residents, promoting their involvement in activities and ensuring their needs are met
  • Recognise and respond to changes in residents' conditions, reporting to Registered Nurses and Managers as needed
Requirements
  • Passion for serving elderly people and making a positive impact on their lives
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge and experience of caring for people with dementia
  • Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care is highly regarded
