Trauma-Informed Specialist for Family Support

We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma-Informed Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Queensland, working alongside case workers to provide effective intervention to families experiencing domestic violence.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of families affected by trauma and adversity. As a specialist, you will be responsible for raising awareness of the nature and impact of domestic and family violence, conducting risk assessments, and providing specialist advice and assistance to team members and clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant tertiary qualification in social work, community services, or a related field, along with at least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role. They should have a clear understanding of child protection issues, mandatory reporting responsibilities, and risk assessment tools. Additionally, they should be trained in Safe & Together and have experience providing direct case work and intervention using a strength-based approach.
