This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary team as a Senior Family Safety Specialist. As part of this position, you will be responsible for working closely with Child Safety to assist families during the investigation and assessment process. Your primary goal will be to help families create safety for their children within their homes.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strength-based approach in their framework of practice. You should have knowledge of adverse childhood experiences (ACES), child development, and the impacts of trauma. Additionally, you should have experience in completing accurate family and individual assessments, as well as skills and knowledge in risk assessment.

The ideal candidate will be innovative, creative, flexible, and culturally aware and inclusive in their practice. They should be able to work effectively with families who are experiencing domestic and family violence, drug and alcohol use, mental health, and disabilities. Experience in Child Safety or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of Child Safety legislation and practice is also highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $49,280 to $51,510 per year, based on experience. This role also comes with salary packaging exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax, portable long service leave, counselling support, and free parking.
