Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Investigations Officer to conduct investigations into licence holders and other parties who may be in breach of legislative requirements. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the integrity of the industry and the protection of Queenslanders.

  • Undertake thorough investigations into potential breaches of legislation administered by relevant authorities.
  • Prepare investigation plans and manage high-volume caseloads.
  • Apply best-practice investigative techniques such as offence elementisation and evidence matrix development.
  • Prepare briefs of evidence for disciplinary, civil or criminal proceedings and provide advice on regulatory matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate IV in Investigation or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum of three years' investigative experience, preferably in a government or regulatory environment.
  • Strong alignment with our vision and values, demonstrating resilience, initiative and commitment to customer engagement.
  • Ability to build relationships, communicate clearly and uphold professional and legislative standards.
