
Lead Investigator

This role involves conducting investigations into licence holders and other parties who may be in breach of legislative requirements, contributing to industry integrity and public protection.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate potential breaches of legislation administered by the relevant authority, including job site operations and investigative activities under relevant acts.
- Prepare investigation plans, manage high-volume caseloads, and apply best-practice investigative techniques such as offence elementisation, evidence matrix development, and conducting interviews.
- Prepare briefs of evidence for disciplinary, civil, or criminal proceedings, conduct proactive compliance activities including audits and surveillance, and provide advice on regulatory matters.
- Represent the organisation in educational activities and tribunal or court proceedings, and deliver high-quality customer service while supporting day-to-day operations.
- Certificate IV in Investigation or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum of three years' investigative experience, ideally in a government or regulatory environment.
- Strong alignment with the organisation's vision and values, showing resilience, initiative, and a commitment to customer engagement.
- Ability to build relationships, communicate clearly, and uphold professional and legislative standards.
