Battery Energy Storage Expert

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in the design and delivery of battery energy storage systems (BESS). This role will involve working at the intersection of engineering and sales, supporting clients with technical expertise to design, model, and deliver high-performing BESS across various markets.


The successful candidate will act as a technical bridge between customers and the sales team, bringing projects to life by shaping system designs, running techno-economic models, preparing single line diagrams (SLDs), and contributing to compelling proposals and tenders.


This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in EPC project delivery to leverage their skills in a pre-sales environment with a leading manufacturer of BESS.


Key responsibilities include partnering with the sales team to understand customer needs, providing pre-sales technical support, building techno-economic models using industry-standard tools, and preparing BOMs, pricing analysis, SLDs, layouts, and schematics in line with relevant standards and guidelines.


The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, 3-5 years of experience delivering solar and/or battery projects, and a background in EPC project design, delivery, or commissioning. Proficiency in system modelling tools and ability to design and interpret SLDs and technical documentation are also essential.
