Objective:
This position is responsible for overseeing the Sales and Marketing functions within the Grid Integration division in Singapore. The individual will have complete accountability for meeting Order Received and Order Profitability objectives. This encompasses proactive marketing initiatives, direct sales engagement with clients, and managing the tendering process. The role involves leading a team of skilled professionals to achieve financial targets and is integral to the Grid Integration Marketing & Sales leadership team in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, plan, and execute marketing and communication strategies for the designated area, aligning with the global marketing and sales framework and budgetary guidelines. Formulate actionable plans, establish sales strategies, and drive business development initiatives that align with the LPG sales objectives while achieving sales targets effectively. Set and monitor key Marketing & Sales objectives in accordance with the Division/Business Unit strategy, ensuring successful attainment. Identify and pursue opportunities with current and prospective clients within the designated geographical region, formulating strategies to capitalize on these opportunities. Oversee product marketing, industry segment marketing, and both strategic and tactical marketing plans to support the organization, while initiating and reporting on market analysis and marketing activities. Ensure effective market monitoring through the development and maintenance of robust marketing tools and coordinated marketing efforts. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare comprehensive competitor analyses, including profit and loss accounts and key financial metrics. Manage the flow of information related to sales activities and transactions, such as leads, orders, and contracts, while evaluating data to ensure goal achievement and providing market intelligence reports to the Marketing and Sales team. Foster strong relationships with key clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with decision-makers. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contract agreements across various customer channels. Take charge of the sales processes, along with all relevant training and development initiatives. Lead the Grid Integration Sales and Marketing team, focusing on skill development and performance enhancement through training and coaching, while also recruiting and onboarding new talent to meet organizational needs. Provide constructive feedback on employee performance and assist in skill development as necessary. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing roles. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, along with demonstrated negotiation capabilities and experience in team management. Strong communication skills are essential.
