Sustainable Operations Specialist

The Environment and Community Officer is a critical position within the Mount Owen Glendell Operations Mine, situated in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales. This exciting opportunity allows an individual to contribute significantly to the MGO Team's efforts in a permanent capacity.
- Assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Environmental Management Systems;
- Rehabilitation, community engagement, compliance monitoring, environmental monitoring, audits, buffer land management, biodiversity offset management, and cultural heritage;
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience in a similar capacity;
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science or engineering;
- Understanding of environment and community aspects in the mining industry;
- Experience working with Environmental and Community Systems;
- Working knowledge of NSW legislative requirements;
- Excellent communication and computer skills;
- A strong team player with leadership capabilities;
