TPG Telecom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a vital role in providing strategic advice, risk analysis, and leading complex legal negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver timely, creative, and commercially astute strategic legal advice and support to ensure marketing, digital, and customer service initiatives comply with regulations and align with strategic goals.
  • Draft and lead negotiations for complex or strategic contracts and key projects, delivering optimum value for TPG.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders, anticipating business, legal, and regulatory issues, and seeking pragmatic customer-focused solutions to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Build strong, effective, and collaborative relationships with Vodafone stakeholders, aligning with TPG's values.
  • Mentor and act as a role model to junior lawyers and/or secondees, driving engagement and developing excellence.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance legal knowledge management and process innovation within the TPG legal team.
  • Support the Head of Team, Deputy General Counsel, and General Counsel.
Requirements:
  • Legally qualified with a current practising certificate or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 years PQE (or equivalent).
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to lead negotiations on complex legal transactions and issues.
  • Strong contract drafting and advisory skills.
  • The ability to strategically apply legal and regulatory knowledge to protect and enhance commercial interests of TPG.
  • Sound judgment and excellent decision-making skills.
