Youth Justice Case Manager Advocate

Job Overview:
This is an ongoing, full-time position based in Melbourne. We are seeking a skilled and passionate case manager to join our Youth Justice Team.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the youth justice system and be committed to contributing to community safety and rehabilitation of young people in the justice system.
About Our Services:
The Youth Justice Team provides community-based supervision and case management services for young people who are appearing before or have been sentenced by the Children's Court.
We promote personal development and contribute to reducing crime in the community through collaboration with local partners and stakeholders.
About the Role:
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for working with young people and a strong understanding of the principles of case management.
You will also have empathy and cultural awareness, as well as confidence in managing stakeholders and negotiating effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services Work is highly desirable.
A full driver's licence is required due to the need to respond to emergencies across the state at short notice.
