Justice Advocate for Young Offenders
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Justice Advocate for Young Offenders.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and their families, while contributing to the delivery of high-quality services in the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of young people's needs and provide expert advice to Bail Justices and the Children's Court
- Work collaboratively with young people, families, professionals, and other stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Develop and implement effective strategies to support young people's rehabilitation and reintegration into the community
- Advanced knowledge of the Youth Justice system, including its principles and philosophy
- Demonstrated expertise in statutory Youth Justice or related fields, with a strong understanding of case management and intervention techniques
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including young people, families, and professionals
- Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services Work (or equivalent)
