Job Overview

Clinical Nurses form the backbone of our healthcare services, working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to lead and support front-line nursing staff.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a 30-bed Private Orthopaedics, Plastics, Vascular and Medical Overflow unit at Joondalup Health Campus, as part of a management team responsible for effective clinical service delivery and coordination.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and support front-line nursing staff with guidance from the Nurse Unit Manager.
  • Oversee and coordinate clinical services to ensure efficiency and high standards of patient care.
  • Supervise, direct and motivate staff to achieve outcomes; plan and prioritise effectively; manage time across a seven-day roster.
About This Role
  • Strong clinical skills set in an acute care setting with extensive Orthopaedic and Plastics experience.
  • Ability to supervise and lead staff to achieve outcomes; excellent planning and time-management skills.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Experience coordinating shifts and managing the unit after hours.
  • Positive can-do attitude and strong leadership capabilities.
  • Experience as a Clinical Nurse / Coordinator within an inpatient environment.
