The Disability Employment Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting job seekers to transform their lives at APM.

About the Role
  • Support job seekers to identify skills to become job ready and deliver quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and secure employment opportunities for job seekers with local employers and build positive relationships with local employers and community groups.
  • Develop personalised job plans for clear employment pathways and enhance job seekers' employability through training and support service referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Job Seeker Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to job seekers on how to overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals.
  • Employment Opportunities: Work closely with stakeholders to identify and secure employment opportunities for job seekers with local employers.
  • Service Delivery: Deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of job seekers and employers, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
