Family and Civil Law Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Family and Civil Law practitioner to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in social justice and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities. They will also possess excellent advocacy skills, resilience in handling complex cases, and the capacity to develop culturally competent service skills.

  • Admission as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or eligibility for immediate acquisition of a current Practising Certificate is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in Family and Civil Law proceedings, including casework related to Child Protection and Domestic Violence applications, as well as Civil Litigation generally.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Family and Civil Law Practitioner, you will engage directly with clients daily, honing your advocacy skills within a busy team. You will have autonomy to manage your own workflows without pressure of billable hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
