Prosecutor Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role where you will be responsible for providing a prosecution service to the community.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced prosecutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the Service and members in matters before the Magistrates, Children's and Coroners Courts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a prosecution service for the area of responsibility.
  • Represent the Service and members in matters relating to the functions of the Service and in proceedings before, and applications to the Magistrates, Children's and Coroners Courts.
  • Provide legal advice within the area of responsibility on matters pertaining to court processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Admission as, eligibility for immediate admission as, or entitlement to practice as, a legal practitioner in the State of Queensland.
