
Community Transport Coordinator

Synopsis: As a member of our Community Transport Team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of older adults and people with disabilities. You will be responsible for providing a safe and respectful service to community members who engage with Independent Living Support Services.
This role is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in your community and be part of a dedicated and professional driving team with a strong customer experience focus and excellent safety record.
As a key member of our team, you will support the needs of older adults and people with disabilities by overseeing administrative tasks linked to Meals Programs, Community Transport, Home-Maintenance, Service Intake and Service Development reviews.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in community services and administration/project work, and be skilled in systems and processes. They will also possess excellent customer service skills, patience, tolerance, and a desire to assist others in the community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a supportive and respectful service to community members
- Support the needs of older adults and people with disabilities
- Oversee administrative tasks linked to Meals Programs, Community Transport, Home-Maintenance, Service Intake and Service Development reviews
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members and stakeholders
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience in community services and administration/project work
- Skilled in systems and processes (e.g Gold Care), finance systems, knowledge of Aged & Community Care schemes/funding
- Excellent customer service approach including patience, tolerance, and a desire to assist others in the community
- Kindness, care, and great communication skills
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety
